Springfield, MO (MCCI Headquarters) Released in
May of 2010, Miller Coach Company is building and
delivering its innovative concept in a KKK Certified
Type II Ambulance. Built on a 2010 Mercedes Benz
Sprinter 2500 High Top chassis with 144" wheelbase, this unit adds a "Safety First!" offering to
the product line.
This configuration provides more than 16 inches of a
walking corridor with the stretcher in the car. Using
the forward side seat, normal patient needs can be
met from a forward facing seated position. This is a
perfect configuration for a long distance transport
unit.
All 3 seats provide impact stable safety and include
a 3-point harness system. The two passenger side
seats fold in order to accommodate a backboard or
stretcher whenever the need arises to carry a
second patient. The attendant seat includes a fold
away built-in child carrier.
This unit also includes an extra wide storage
cabinet at the side door. This is an excellent
location for stair-chair storage such as in this
configuration and also shows a crash stable
portable oxygen holder. This is a good area for any
large item storage requirement. Shelves and
additional safety straps can be added if required.
